Today is the final last day of school for our fearless leader, Mr. Pitts! This wraps up 27 years in education, 25 at Maryville, and 19 as principal of MMS. What an incredible career! Being a principal is a hard job but he has done it was integrity and class. He will be missed!

Last night, our middle school students put on a fantastic performance at the MMS Soring Band Concert. A special "thank you" to Mr. Gilham, who conducted his final middle school performance. Enjoy your retirement, and thank you for all you've done for so many student musicians. You have helped develop true talent in so many!

It is Staff Appreciation Week at Maryville R-II! It is hard to find a way to say "thank you" to a group of amazing teachers, coaches, paras, custodians, bus drivers, administrators, office assistants, and maintenance staff. It truly takes a remarkable team to create an incredible learning environment for our students. We are blessed to have this team at Maryville R-II.
A special thanks to our parent groups, churches, and community organizations who have provided meals, decorated schools, and found unique ways to show how much our staff members are valued and appreciated. Maryville is a special place where greatness happens each day, because of the pride we have in our community and our schools.
